Bridgehead’s Avocado Toast

Bridgehead’s Avocado Toast combines healthy fats with bright fresh lemon, savoury plant-based protein and a pinch of salt all served up on my favourite food delivery vehicle—crunchy, thickly sliced whole grain toast.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado pit and peel removed
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
  • Chili flakes optional
  • Flaky salt
  • Two slices of your favourite whole grain bread, well-toasted

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, mash together avocado and lemon juice. Spread mashed avocado onto toast and sprinkle nutritional yeast and chili flakes across the tops. Finish with flaky salt.
